Been binge watching Nephew all week. Awesome content, but can someone please explain to me why he presses so many buttons per input? His f.MP link has light punch with it almost every time. And his c.HP has all 3 punches with it consistently. It's confusing the hell out of me.

His Heavy Punch is almost as long as ryu’s, is 1 frame faster and he has the fastest walk speed in the game 💀

I think the biggest issue is that she basically just got stronger when she's at her weakest. It's not a bad way to get buffed, but they didn't really address things like lacking anti-fireball tools or dive kick only having one angle/trajectory.

Akuma to me is easily the best character now. For top players his utility I'm sure makes adjusting super easy. Just look at that delayed five kick on Kim

I think Akuma is a fun play, but not top tier, nor is he scary to fight against. Here me out. Because of the denfesive mechanics in SF6 he is relatively easy to counter. All his tools for pressure can be drive impacted or jabbed, so really what does he have to keep opponents afraid. When ypu fight a Marissa, Ken, Zangief, hell even Honda, there is a respect for each character. Akuma in this SF just doesnt have that respect. Very fun play though 😅.

Akuma is a corny ass easy mode character. Sad to see so many people flock to him. People don’t wanna work for their wins, they just wanna have that good feeling of “winning” the easiest way possible.

The best description I’ve heard of Akuma was from Broski and it’s 💯 on point.

In SF you win by hitting the opponent first and/or guard their attacks in that priority. You do not win by face tanking hits with your HP pool. Akuma is strong and his weakness can be worked around with the right decisions. Weaker characters can't work around shit buttons and options. This is not a reaction to the vid, just calling out the people who say hp pool = balanced.

Can't be top tier cos of low health

It is silly to think characters like Akuma and Bison are OP when they were once Boss characters. If Sagat comes he will be top-tier as well. Expectantly so.

This capcom cup will be only akuma mirrors.... just like luke season 1 and sf4 elena... capcom does it on purpose, there's no way they tried to balance akuma in this patch.
